In 2018, the Electronic Music Department at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (where I was both a student and a technical assistant within the department) was commissioned to compose the music for a projection-mapped video piece and a "light tunnel" as part of the annual Waddesdon Manor Christmas Fair. I was tasked with both composing a piece for the light tunnel as well as with developing the software infrastructure for the light tunnel. The latter involved developing a system that would autonomously launch, playback and transition between each of the nine 48-channel compositions on a set schedule every day for the duration of the fair. I developed this system in Max/MSP and have used smaller versions of it for my own installations since then. The piece featured in the video above is my composition for the tunnel.
